This is the
WW2 radio site. After research by Chris Corkish we think it's a Radio
Track Beam site, an allied copy of the German 'bombing beams' but
used instead for homing returning aircraft. Judging by the distance the
aerial was sited from the accomodation, it must have radiated a very high
power.
