My first flying
location was in the Laxey Valley Gardens, by the Snaefell Waterwheel.
Originally built in North Wales for the Snaefell Mine and used there from
1865 to 1910. It eventually returned to the island and was reconstructed
here by the Laxey
Mines Research Group in 2006.
