We've travelled
round to Laxey now and this is believed to be the anchor from the 'Thorne',
a barque that was wrecked in Douglas Bay on the 25th January 1890. She
was on passage from Liverpool to Adelaide with general cargo, including
whisky and brandy, some of which was recovered from the wreck.
