We've been away from
the island for a couple of weeks, which is why there have been no June
pictures so far.
I did shoot a lot of
pictures while away in Wales and England and I'm going to upload a selection
of the aerial panoramas.
Click either of the
images below to go to the 360 degree Panorama section for June, don't
forget to click on the big images for the interactive versions!
I've uploaded six so
far.

It's taken me a few
days to find time to produce these pages, but on Wednesday afternoon we
travelled up to Close Sartfield in the Ballaugh Curragh to see if the wild
orchids there were still in bloom. I finished off with some aerial
shots to show the areas.

On Thursday afternoon
I set out to see if I could find a little waterfall that I had spotted
from the air in April, on the Injebreck River. It proved to be
not quite as easy as I had thought! I had planned this as a video
session, but I couldn't get the radio microphone to connect so it's just
ended up as still pictures. I would have taken a different camera
had I planned it as such, but the DJI Osmo has done a reasonable job, considering
that the pictures here were just intended as video fills.

On Tuesday afternoon
we did a trip up to the Point of Ayre and The Ayres Nature Reserve, hoping
to find the rare Bee Orchid which has been reported to be flowering up
there. We weren't successful, but did see a large variety of other flora
and fauna!

I took these pictures
on a visit to Peel yesterday afternoon. Some distortion on a few
of the pictures due to the very wide angle lens on the Ace Pro!

On our way back home
from Peel, we called in to Tynwald Mills to visit Claire in her super Element
Isle jewellery shop. She designs and makes most of the products
that she sells there, I love her new Aurora
Collection and Georgie ended up buying a bangle! I noticed that
one of the windows had this amazing artwork on it, sorry, I've forgotten
the name of the artist.

After a day of rain
and cloud on Saturday, it rolled away at around 5 PM and left us with a
sunny evening. I was over in Peel so decided to visit Whitestrand
Beach for a walk along and also to take some aerial pictures.

from Peel I took it for a test run to Port Soderick.
