The island has three airfields, Ronaldsway in the south, which is the present Isle of Man Airport, Jurby in the northwest, which although large enough to take small turboprops is currently only used by microlights and gliders, and Andreas in the north, which is privatly owned and again mainly used by gliders and microlights.

Ronaldsway has regular air services to most parts of the United Kingdom and to Dublin in Ireland, passenger services are provided by Manx Airlines, Emerald Airways and Jersey European. The largest aircraft in regular service is the BAe 146-200, but the airport can handle up to Boeing 757.

Air Traffic Control is well equipped with primary and secondary radar, and we have ILS/DME, VOR/DME, NDB/DME and surveillance radar approaches availible.
