How do you get here?

As we are an island with the nearest part of the UK sixteen miles away and no bridges or tunnels there are two choices - by boat or air.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company operate year round car ferry sailing's from Heysham and Liverpool in England, with seasonal services from Belfast, Northern Ireland and Dublin in the Republic of Ireland. Crossing times from the UK are about four hours by conventional ferry and about half that on the Sea Cat in the summer months.

Manx Airlines, our based airline, operate regular services from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds and Dublin. Other services, some seasonal, are from Jersey, Cardiff, Southampton and Newcastle.

Jersey European operate regular services from Belfast, Blackpool and Bristol.
 

Comed Aviation operate regular services from Blackpool.

If you have your own aircraft, no problem, we have a well equipped airport at Ronaldsway with  Avgas 100LL and Jet A1 fuel available and we can take aircraft up to Boeing 757 size. If you want to sail your own boat there are harbours at Douglas, Castletown, Port St Mary, Port Erin, Peel, Ramsey and Laxey. The tidal range is quite large here and many dry out out low tide, so watch your times!

So - it's easy to get here, sorry no direct flights from Europe or further afield, you'll have to travel via the UK or Ireland.
