Niarbyl is located on the
west coast of the island, to the south of Peel. The name comes from the
'tail of rocks' Yn Arbyl, seen in the second picture. It used to
be a port for the Herring fleet but declined after 1850 and is now very
popular with visitors due to its scenic location and houses.
