Moving round
to the south side of the airport, this gap in the stone wall is just about
the only reminder of the original grass Ronaldsway Airport. There was a
loop road here serving the wooden buildings that comprised the airport
terminal and Air Traffic Control. They we all demolished when HMS
Urley was constructed.
